Hello and Welcome!
My name is Chibuye, and I’m an avid gallivanter. I've had the luck of living in culturally vibrant cities like Amsterdam, Berlin, Bristol, and Brussels. Exploring these cities and many others, I've often chosen my destinations based on their cultural offerings. One thing about me: I’m going to visit the local museum!
In recent years, I've shared highlights of these experiences with friends, and ARt gallivanting has become its own genre. I wanted to create a space to archive these adventures and share impactful art and makers.
What I enjoy the most is impactful art, works that allude to a deeper movement. This includes, but is not limited to, cinema, contemporary art, photography and written form work. Another passion of mine is showcasing artists of colour. Through their relatable stories, contexts, and references, I have come to embrace and enjoy art. I am keen to engage with art that has meaning and reflects the contexts of its maker. I look forward to highlighting their work and discovering more.
Each month, you'll find recaps of my past adventures and recommendations for upcoming art events and exhibitions here. On Instagram, I will spotlight inspiring artists through concise yet informative pieces, giving you doses of creative inspiration.
